Black Conservatives Get A Dose Of Reality
Sooooo, what happened to all of those Black Conservatives who were suppose to "make their mark" on the political scene in 2010?
WAIT A MINUTE!
They did WHAT!?
They LOST!?
ALL OF THEM!?
Hmmm, how did THAT happen? I thought we were in a post racial America. I thought all of those appearances at the tea party rallies BLASTING the President for being "TOO RADICAL" was suppose to work. Oh well Angela McGlowan(pictured above),so much for "defending and promoting your Mississippi conservative values"......whatever THAT means. You know,we have a saying here in the state of Alabama,"at least we're not Mississippi". Well we USED to say that. After recent activites in THIS state, maybe it should be the other way around. Oh and speaking of Alabama. Has anyone heard from Les Phillip since he got a whopping 8% of the vote in the Republican primary last week? For those of you who live outside of Alabama and don't know who Les Phillip is,allow me to introduce you. He ran for a congressional seat in Northern Alabama. He ran this ad over and over and over and over during his campaign.
You see THAT?
THAT is the reason Black Conservatives didn't win a single primary. Well they won one somewhere......but he'll lose in November. Most of them have spent their money and efforts trying to convince the establishment, they're not like Barack Obama.
-Psst....those folks still aren't going to elect you. Don't take my word for it,ask Artur Davis.
When will you guys ever learn? You can be Conservative without trying to convince a certain segment of people that you're like them. Just be yourselves!! Take a cue from J.C.Watts,Colin Powell and Lenny McAllister. I may disagree with their political philosophy, but all three of them call it like they see it. They call out the President when they think he is wrong, and they call out the tea party and others within their own party as well. And they didn't have to run and apologize for doing it. I urge you guys to get a new game plan because that one is played out.
