Never in a million years did I ever think I would see a state more blatantly racist than my home state of Alabama. But congratulations to the "wonderful" state of Arizona for proving ignorance and BLATANT racism is not just confined to the south. By now I'm sure you have seen or heard of what the state of Arizona is doing with their "driving while Hispanic" law disguised as an "immigration law". I think we all agree that some kid of immigration reform is long overdue. But this isn't the route to go.
The state of Arizona has also decided to ban teachers with "accents" from teaching English classes. They don't want to "promote any classes that would promote the overthrow of the U.S.government".If any schools are caught with teachers who have "accents",those schools will lose state funding.
Not only have they passed this "Immigration Law". They also passed a law that requires future Presidential candidates to show their birth certificate in order to be on the ballot in the state of Arizona.
TRANSLATION:We don't believe Barack Obama is a natural born citizen of the U.S. so if he wants to be on the ballot in Arizona in 2012,he needs to show us his birth certificate.
That's right,not only have they managed to make racial profiling law in Arizona.They have also adopted the wacky philosophy of the "Birthers". WOW,and I thought Alabama was bad.
